Well, shit.

Took the 182 in for the annual inspection yesterday.

One bad cylinder on one side, and two marginal ones on the other side.

Shit. This is gonna be a bit costly.

But hey, no one ever said aviation is cheap.

It's the downtime while the cylinders are reworked that sucks though.

Prolly 3 weeks.

I was a passenger some years ago in a 182, through Merrill Pass. A nice stable aircraft. It was amazing to see the number of crashed airplanes there.

Argh. On the bright side, you'll have some top-notch cylinders when they're done.
