Interesting thought:

'Twas pointed out to me that Weiner's behavior is possibly (Probably?) because he has been, for years and years, a "Beard" for Huma. He ain't gettin' any at home, so he goes and looks elsewhere.

Makes sense, really. Especially if the rumors about Huma and Hillary are true.

I wonder....

"If you are under DHS investigation you shouldn't be allowed to buy a gun or to fly"

So, I expect that Ms Clinton will be stepping down then? I mean, having a firearms or flying is one thing, but running for president is another.

Indy 1500.

Shoulda bought that $900 1911 that Tam was selling. I left to cogitate upon it a bit, and when I returned, someone else had chosen to purchase it .

Oh well. "you snooze, you lose". My Bad.

It WAS a Really Nice firearm though. Worn in, not worn out. Lightly customized. Well cared for.

Didn't find anything else that tripped my trigger....

Setting the example

Teaching the next generation how to behave.

Yeah, that'll help 'em later in life. Teach 'em how to interact.

Notice the demographic. Yeah, I'm a racist for pointing it out. I got that. Doesn't change the facts, does it?

Early voting

Seems some demographics are favoring Hillay by a wide margin....

It's not the one you think:

(And it really does happen)

Bad or Worse.

So I am on the shuttle bus from the airport to remote parking (which is also, late at night, the rental car shuttle, as the terminals are across the street from each other).

The bus is full, and I am sitting at one end. An older lady is last to enter at the other end, and the doors close.

The young black man sitting in front of her gets up and offers her his seat. She politely decline his offer with thanks, and he sits back down.

As we exit, I catch up to him. Told him that was a nice thing to do.

"That's the way I was raised".

"Yeah, but you did it when NO ONE that knows you was watching."

That, my friends, is one definition of character. He had it. No one else at that end of the bus chose to be gallant. He did. For no gain.

There is hope for the future.

Contrast this with the story 2 below this.

Amish yoots again:

Philly Juvenile Mob beats horse, bus driver, students.

Notice, no race mentioned.

Draw your own conclusions.

A row all your own

So I fly from Phoenix to Chicago Midway....

Stopover in San Antonio.

The light is full from PHX to SAT.

All but three of us get off in SAT.

The flight attendants tell me that the flight from SAT to MDW is only gonna be about 2/3 full.

I move to the front of the airplane, as I only have carryon luggage  and I can get on the road to home quickly that way.

The flight starts boarding. We are nearly done when a HUGE woman comes in the door. Like 5'2" and pushing 350 lbs...she barely fit in the aisle.
Carrying a 6 week old baby in a carrier and two a diaper bag.

She stops at my row and asks if she can sit there.

"Of course", I say...."It will give us a chance to discuss your child's relationship with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ".

I had the entire row to myself for the flight

I hate the TSA

THis trip, they were (for the TSA) polite and efficient.

Still. I cannot stand them.

And I HATE the fact that I have to disarm. Not so much the firearms (although that is an irritation), but the pocketknife.

It is like I lost a finger, I use a pocketknife so often in my day.....having it gone is a handicap.

And restricting me from carrying it didn't make anyone safer.

(not, that I was disarmed, mind you)

Posted for your consideration.

The following was sent to me by my brother.

You may agree, you may not. But it IS something to think about. I am not a fan of the Donald. I truly wish that there were other choices than the two we have (yes, I could go Third Party, but then I might as well not bother to vote)...The choices we have are the two we have. Neither is good, One is worse than the other. As Tam said to me a month or so ago: You can vote for the New York Democrat, or the New York democrat.

Without further comment:

This may be the best and most honest political promotion statement you will ever read. It decidedly does not brush objections aside.

You hate Hillary? READ it. You hate Trump? READ it. You think there's no choice? READ it. And, read it with your grown-up hat on.
We've all been dealt huge responsibility with this election. The first step toward accepting responsibility is accepting it, and the first step toward accepting it is recognizing it.
READ THIS. Read every single word. It'll take you about three minutes. Be sure to read to the end (take a few minutes and read all of it!)
Are you sickened and despondent with the current campaign and upcoming presidential election?
I consider myself a conservative and do truly believe our country is at a political/economic/moral/ social crossroads. I need to let you know I could/would never vote for Hillary Clinton to lead this country. To me, she represents everything that is wrong with our current political structure. On the flip side, I look and listen to Donald Trump and I cringe at every rude, insulting comment he makes.
If you find yourself in a similar state of mind, please read the following article:
A Message For Christians About Donald Trump
Here's a famous joke about God and how he talks to us.
"A deeply faithful Christian man is stuck on roof at home with massive flooding up to the 2nd floor. Rowboat comes. He says "No, I'm waiting for God. I prayed and I know he's coming." 2nd Rowboat. "No, I'm waiting for God." 3rd Rowboat. "No, I'm waiting for God."
Water rises. The man drowns. Now he's meeting God in heaven. The religious man says, "Where were you God? I prayed. I was faithful. I asked you to save me. Why would you abandon me?"
God says, "Hey, I sent you 3 rowboats."
Did you ever consider Trump is our rowboat?
Maybe God is trying to tell us something important--that now is not the time for a "nice Christian guy" or a "gentleman" or a typical Republican powder puff. Maybe now is the time for a natural born killer, a ruthless fighter, a warrior. Because right about now we need a miracle, or America is finished. Maybe the rules of gentlemen don't apply here. Maybe a gentleman and "all-around nice Christian" would lead us to slaughter.
Or do you want another Mitt Romney, Bob Dole, John McCain, Gerald Ford or Paul Ryan? Did any of them win? Did they lead the GOP to "the promised land?" Did they change the direction of America ? No, because if you don't win, you have no say.
Paul Ryan couldn't even deliver his own state, Wisconsin ! And as leader of the House, Paul Ryan rolls over to Obama like my dog rolls over for a scrap of food, or a steak bone. Nice, but obedient. I mean Paul Ryan...not my dog. My dog is actually a pretty good defender and loyal.
Maybe God is knocking on your door loudly, but you're not listening. Maybe God understands we need a "war leader" at this moment in time. Maybe God understands if we don't win this election, America is dead. It's over. The greatest nation in world history will be gone. Finished. Kaput. Adios.
And with one last breath, maybe what we need to save us at the last second, is someone different. Someone you haven't ever experienced before-- because you weren't raised in rough and tumble New York where nothing good gets accomplished unless you're combative, aggressive, outrageous, on offense at all times, and maybe just a tad arrogant too.
Someone with a personality you've never seen on stage at your church. Maybe, just maybe, being a nice gentlemanly Christian would not beat Hillary and her billion dollars, and her best friends in the media who will unleash the dogs of hell upon the GOP nominee.
I guess you think God is only nice and gentlemanly. Really? Then you've missed the whole point of the Bible. When necessary, God is pretty tough. When necessary, God strikes with pain, death and destruction. When necessary, God inflicts vengeance.
Maybe you think God couldn't possibly be associated with someone like Trump. Trump is too vicious, rude and crude.
When we won WWII, was God "nice?" Were we gentlemanly when defeating Hitler? Were we gentlemanly when firebombing Germany? Were we gentlemanly when dropping atomic bombs on Japan ? Is God ever "nice" on the battlefield? Or does he send us vicious SOB's like General George S. Patton so the good guys can defeat evil?
It's pretty clear to me God sends unique people to be "war leaders." That's a different role than a pastor or church leader. God understands that.
And maybe it's time to re-define "nice." Maybe Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan aren't nice at all--because they led us to defeat. And losing again would mean the end of America . And God can't allow that. Maybe Romney and Ryan mean well, but the road to hell is paved with good intentions. Or maybe they're just jealous they had their chance and blew it. Maybe they'd rather help elect Hillary than allow a Trump victory that would make them look weak, feckless and incompetent.
"Even the youths shall faint and be weary, And the young men shall utterly fall, But those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint." (Isiah 40:30-31)
God is about miracles. We don't need a "nice guy" or a "gentleman" right now. It's the 4th quarter and we're losing 14-0. We need a miracle.
So let me repeat my message to Christians: "YOU'RE MISSING THE BOAT."
I believe Trump is our miracle. I believe Trump is our rowboat. Except he's more like a battleship!
No one is saying Trump is perfect. No one is saying Trump is a perfect conservative. But he is a patriot. He is a warrior. He is a capitalist. He is the right man, at the right time. Yes, he's a bit rude and crude and offensive. But that may make him the perfect warrior to save America , American exceptionalism, capitalism and Judeo-Christian values. The choice should be easy for Christians.
It's Trump...or it's the end of the American dream.
If anything in this article strikes a positive chord with you, pass it on

Do with this what you will. Agree, disagree, I don't care. But think.

Watching the commercials

For politicians in Chicago (I am in Indiana, but get  mostly Chicago over the air stations).

Somehow, questioning the Federal Funding given to Planned Parenthood gets conflated to "Attacking "Womens Health"" and "Denying a woman's "right to choose""...

Whoever does the voice over inn the ads does a nice job., I gotta say that. But the fact that the ad exists ndn is played frequently makes a point about Rush Limbaugh's "low information voter...

I don't have a dog in the hunt, as I live in another state...But I find it educational, in a bizarre way. There are other ads, all of which twist the truth a bit (I actually took the time to check) that also make the point.

I'd love to hear Donald Trump use the term "Margin of Fraud" in the Debate on Wed.

Are women really that gullible, that the DNC thinks that it can sway their votes with the accusations they have "trumped up" about Trump?

Are they really that stupid, that they would think that some woman sat on the fact that she was essentially assaulted by a Millionaires, during the 90's, when all a woman had to do was cry to get a settlement, would say nothing for 20+ years...until weeks before a presidential election in which the Millionaire was a candidate....and that there is no collusion when in the same week 8 or more accusations are made?

Or are most women so emotionally distraught and damaged by their experiences with predatory men that they are unable to think with logic and can only react emotionally.....

One wonders. Apparently the DNC thinks they are that stupid and gullible...even those who I might have called intelligent...even if they were misguided liberals.

I find it hard to believe that any woman with an IQ high enough to let them drive and work in any job beyond a McDonald cashier level can believe the accusations against Trump this late in the game....or that the accusations were anything but planned and orchestrated.

Strangely, most of the women I know are smarter than that....whether they like Trump or not.

I predict that approximately one month after President Clinton takes office there will be another mass murder of women and children,,,probably young disabled children by a early 20's white man wielding an assault rifle....

The man, who will have a troubled past, will be on heavy doses of prescription psychoactive drugs. There will, again, be great and disturbing discrepancies in the media/government story about what happened...But the media will gloss over them in their attempt to shock us with the tragedy of all those young deaths.

Immediate calls for the confiscation of "Assault weapons" will happen.

Also a ban on any magazine holding more than 5 rounds because "you don't need any more than that to hunt"....and that would somehow have stopped the murderous perpetrator......But the Meme will be loud and repeated often by the MSM....

Also a tax of $1.00 per round of pistol and rifle ammunition.

When Congress balks, President Clinton will do so by "Executive order"....Congress will stay mute.

Compliance will be less than 15%

From there? Who knows?

You heard it here third...

Buy your firearms and ammo if you haven't (and if you haven't, then you are a fool, and it is gonna cost you) before the elections, 'cause after that, chances are you are won't be able to afford either.

Again, I'm not a fan of Trump. I think that there are a LOT of better possible candidates...Just none that got the RNC nod.

Ok, but he was the winner of the Republican Primary. The choice of the people (Republican voters, that is...) Chosen by the voters as the Republican candidate.

Now, back in 2012 and 2008, the RNC wanted us to support THEIR candidate. McCain in 2008 and Romney in 2012...Remember? Put the Party above all else. Vote for the RNC candidate.....Support the Party's choice.....

Many of us did. We held our nose, and voted for the Republican Candidate. Grudging support, but we did it.

And what do we get in return? When the people of the Party chose someone that WASN'T the choice of the RNC leadership (Not that I think it was a GOOD choice, mind you, but it was the choice of the Party members) ?

Yeah, No support for him. Lukewarm at best, damaging words and half-hearted.

And they want OUR support? Our contributions? Our help?

I've not helped, in any way except my vote, for the past two elections. And until they change leadership, change their attitude, change their ways....I won't. Were it not for the fact that I fear a Hillary Presidency, I'd not vote at all. For me, the RNC has destroyed the Party....Or at least the pretense that I was a part of it.

I expect the same sort of loyalty to the members from the RNC that they ask from those same members....and I think that I am not alone in my wishes.

Fuck 'em.

I don't like Trump (I like Hillary less)... But Ryan has shown, with his dismissal of Trump over some statements made many years ago, that he is not deserving of my support for Speaker.

In fact, since he has to be all PC and such, his fitness for any position is suspect.

Image stolen from Free North Carolina

Nope. No voter fraud.

you really should watch this, if you haven't seen it.

In Chicago, the dead vote.

Apparently in New York, you just have to show up,

Vote early, vote often, as the saying goes.

One wonders if they would be Democrat controlled, if the real vote were to happen cleanly.

And this is a Democrat ...Commissioner of the board of elections, New York City.

Via Tam, I find that Brock Yates has passed.

I grew up reading his prose, and the magazine he edited...Car and Driver. I learned a lot from those glossy pages, and they opened up a world of dreams(at least half of the dreams, anyway) that most young boys have....Fast cars driven well and to their limits.

Somewhere, I have his autograph, from meeting him at the Indy 500 time trials in the late 80's or  early 90's. He was a nice guy to a young geeky man....he had class. Made me feel good about myself. Nobility is another good word.

This world is a lesser place with his passing.

"It doesn't happen in locker rooms"

These Politically Correct wimps athletes are lying.

Or they are so pussy whipped that they just can't admit it. Either way, I doubt that anyone really believes the meme that the press is pushing.

Apparently I hang out with more manly men than these professional athletes.

We, at least, admit it.

Women are worse when they think they are alone, sometimes, actually.

ETA: If there is a man out there who claims he has NEVER said anything like that, I will call him a liar.

Nancy O'Dell Addresses Donald Trump Comments on 'Entertainment Tonight

As she sits there, dressed to the nines, her breasts in a push up bra, hair done to enhance her face, makeup done by a professional to make her look sexy, healthy, and fertile....

She is objectifying herself.

But we aren't supposed to notice or comment.

(I am told that it is 'Competition amongst women". Competition for what? Men?

Sometimes I have hope

That Black and White and Latino and Asian and Middle Eastern people can peacefully coexist...

As Brigid told the Story.....We went to the local Swap -O-Rama in Alsip, Illinois.

There, people, on the surface at least, look past color and race and ethnicity and language...

They speak Cash, see Green, and really only care about making a sale or a deal.  No one looks for trouble, and there is none...any that starts is soon squelched. Commerce is king.

I sincerely doubt that many of those folks selling at the Swap O Rama would care to have me live in their neighborhood...(To be fair, some might, some would definitely not, and most are somewhere in between), and I might not care to have all of them move into my neighborhood.....Which is fine.....if we can meet, and interact, and deal in peace and with mutual respect and consideration, then we can coexist.

If people, no matter what their color, race, or ethnicity, will choose to be civilized, and pay attention to the rules of civility and society, then our society will have a chance.

If they won't, then we can't coexist. Period.

More truths there.

Maybe "Liberal" women don't want to admit it....But it IS true.

If all those women are upset by Trump's comments.....

Who bought those 80+ million copies of "50 shades of Grey"?

It surely wasn't men, now was it?

(I don't facebook, but a friend showed me where this question was all over facebook....For some reason, it wouldn't copy/paste)

I hope it works this time

So there is apparently going to be another boycott of Ben and Jerry's ice cream.

This time, for backing Black Lives Matter.

I dunno. it is because of their support of liberal social change groups that I choose not to buy their products. Other people choose to buy 'em, and that is ok too.

I've never seen a boycott work, at least not in the long term. People have short attention spans.

and HERE

Fact is, real men(sometimes) talk to other men about women in ways that aren't always approved by women or the PC liberal WhinePussies. Real women talk about men in ways that we men wouldn't generally approve of either. (Real Men don't care though...we are strong enough to deal with it...I think real women are strong enough to deal with it too)

Also, Trump is rich...he was then, too. Lots of ladies throw themselves at Real Men....more when he is rich. What do they use for bait? Yeop, their bodies and beauty. But that is different, innit?

"you loot, we shoot"

Yeah, it happened for real near Daytona Beach.

Organized by Black Lives Matter, it resulted in 31 (Yep, Thirty One People) dead and others wounded. (I have no idea as to the races of those shot, nor what race the looters were, nor the shopkeepers...I can suspect, but I have no reports)

Hope that there was something worth dying over in those stores...either worth dying to steal, or dying to defend.

'Twasn't white folks who organized this attempt at organized looting. No one is saying the race of the looters......draw your own conclusions (bet they aren't as pale as me).

I wonder what kind of hay the race baiters are gonna try to make out of this?

Where are the resignations?

Or the transfers?

FBI agents are ready to revolt over the cozy Clinton probe

I mean, all these (supposedly) upstanding, morally outraged FBI agents

Yet they still work for the FBI, they still follow orders, none have resigned in protest of the destruction of their once proud institution and reputation.....

And they followed orders, even when they KNEW those orders were immoral, if not illegal.

Just the thing

For some people.....

AMC Pacer from Wayne'sWorld goes up for auction

I know a guy who will likely be bidding.

Friday, October 7, 2016

I was asked today:

"Doya think the Hurricane will wash all of those Zika mosquitoes out to sea?"

I had no answer.

Thursday, October 6, 2016

If you are stuck line trying to buy gas or are bemoaning the fact that there is no water or bread or other food on the shelves at the stores in Florida...(and if you have the time to discuss it with the news media).....

I really don't feel sorry for you.

Anyone with 2 synapses to rub together has known for at least the past 4 days that Hurricane Matthew would be impacting the state of Florida in some manner. At a minimum you were gonna get some high winds and significant rainfall.

The fact that you didn't bother to begin to prepare until 36 hours before the lanndfall, and are now stuck trying to find (nonexistant) supplies that everyone else bought 48 hours ago, and are stuck in a line trying to buy gasoline (either to bug out or for a generator) does not raise any sympathy with me. None.

"Failure to plan is planning to fail"

Now you are likely to take the time for some First Responder or force the county or state to find space in a shelter for your sorry ass.

I'd let you drown or starve. It'd be better for the Human Race.

A wall won't stop illegal border crossing!

Unless, of course, you are in Turkey.

Maybe our Mexicans are smarter than their Syrians?

Odd, that.

Very wierd

And creepy...

And, of course, the pussies are wetting themselves....Demanding the police "Do Something"...The police ARE increasing patrols, but not much else. Some parents are all upset, which is what the posters want...

'Clowns' posting threats to schools on social media.

ME? I'd make sure each kid walking to school had a baseball bat, and that they walked in groups. Or (better) accompany MY kid to school...Properly armed.

A couple of beaten, dead "clowns" with smoking holes in them would stop this shit really quickly.

ETA: Apparently this shit is happening in a lot of places?

Discrimination by Color and Race

Can you imagine if some White Fraternity chose to discriminate based on race?

"No Blacks Allowed". Can you hear the screams? The cries of" Racisss" The complaints that this is discrimination?

Yet Columbia University is helping Black Students hold a Black Only (No Whites Allowed) "Leadership Retreat".

Now, I despise the double standard. But more importantly, the University, while a private institution, takes Federal and state money in the form of grants and scholorships...Which means that they cannot and should not help discriminate.

Enough is enough. Discrimination is bad. I agree. But why is it only bad when White people do it? Whites have reason not to want Blacks around. Valid reasons. So, I would assume, do Blacks have reasons not to want Whites around. Valid ones...

But if we, as whites, can't discriminate or exclude based on color or race, then neither can they.

Enough of this shit. Allowing discrimination isn't gonna right any wrongs, perceived or otherwise, that may or may not have occurred in the past. It is only gonna make more of it happen.
