Now that Independence Day has passed, I have a question for all of you who refer to the holiday as the "Fourth of July" :

Do you wish people a "Merry December 25th"? Or "Happy 4th Thursday in November"?

Then why do you say "Have a good Fourth!" or refer to the Independence Day holiday as the "Fourth of July"? When you do, you water down the holiday and the reason we celebrate.....

I will say Merry X-Mas and Happy Turkey Day though. Kinda the same thing.
