D-Day

Was today.

68 years ago, 150,000 plus men began the liberation of France in Operation Overlord.

Nearly 1 in 10 was a casualty.

But the plan worked.

And we all know the result.

I wonder if the youth of France are thankful that they aren't required to speak German?

Na, many of them are to busy wishing they were riding camels, beating their wives, and speaking some Middle Eastern language....

No I think not. Hell, I don't even think they teach what this day means to Americans anymore. HERE!
