But the party scene among the elites in Hollywood in the early 70's sounds like a LOT of fun:

 The wife of Hollywood legend Dick Martin has lifted the lid on the partying and mischief that took place within the couple's star-studded circle - including the time they got high off marijuana cookies and were cussed at by Frank Sinatra's foul-mouthed parrot. 

Not the sort of stories one hears every day.....
