No. 4 shot. 12 ga.
Lead about a barrel width out if under 30 yards. two if more. Roughly the same as downing a fast flying goose minus a slight amount since you can use real shot and not the light steel crap.
i'm with pioneerpreppy .... 12ga ... but I might suggest solids
