It is amazing, really...

Open heart surgery on Wednesday.

Walking the next day.

Walking a quarter mile on Friday.

Expected to leave in another 2-3 days.

Full recovery in 6-8 weeks.

Sadly, the state of innovation of the medical arts will stall once we get rid of the profit motive with Socialized medicine if the DNC types get their way.

'Glad to hear the good news.

The "state of innovation" isn't the only thing that will be lost if socialized medicine becomes reality in the U.S. As a retired military vet, I can tell you that the very last thing this country needs is socialized healthcare! You'll go where you're told for care; not where you want to go, but where you're TOLD to go. You'll get the medication you're TOLD to take; not necessarily the med that WORKS. It goes on and on. Socialized medicine will not "give the same medical access to the poor as to the rich. On the contrary; it will give the same medical care to the rich as to the poor!

America, you DON'T WANT THIS!!!

When my ex-father in law had heart surgery in 1975 he was in ICU for 3 weeks. When hubby had heart surgery in 2000 he was out of hospital in 3 days. We've come a long way in a short amount of time. Speedy recovery and prayers for you.
