It occurs to me that if the Post Office didn't give such deep discounts to the Junk Mail senders, but rather forced them to pay closer to (like circa 70% of) the cost that the rest of us do, then we'd not have the issues either.
Of course, if they decreased Junk Mail, then I'd have issues keeping my woodstove fed, as USPS delivered junk mail paper is about 25% of our heat source for the year.
