Seems that you can no longer hear Elmer hawking carpet for "Empire" .
I grew up with that voice...."588-2300" .
Strangely, I never bought any carpet from them.... But if you say those numbers to me....I'll likely answer "Empire!"
Either you understand, or you don't.
