is disapproving no more
The vet was going to come out at noon. Bob chose his own way out and passed the Bridge at 4 AM instead.
My friend Bob is in pain no more.
Rescued 7 years ago when some asshole abandoned him. He was starving when I found him. Hard to catch fieldmice when it is -15 F. Damned near frozen to death too....All he wanted was food, shelter, and love. I gave that. He gave back in spades.
He was FIV positive. Which is what killed him, ultimately.
'Twas a good 7 years. I think they were good for him as well. He seemed happy and content until Tuesday. The decline was swift.
I shall miss him. If y'all could say a word to whomever you pray to for him, that'd be much appreciated.
I might not blog for a bit.

I am so sorry for your loss. Hard to lose a fur buddy but they know you loved them and saved them. They know.
We will light a candle in the window tonight to help Bob on his passage over the Rainbow Bridge.
He will live in memory and that's what counts.
I know how you feel. It damn near killed me when my ferret Ragnar passed. But you can console yourself with knowing you gave him a forever home, took care of him, and he had good quality of life.
Also, since nobody, and I mean NOBODY knows what happens after death, you might see him again. Ferret people have a tale about "Rainbow Bridge" where your ferrets go when they pass, and they play in a beautiful garden, by a bridge, waiting for you to come in the fullness of time. Who knows that doesn't happen. Gaffer has heard of it, apparently, so maybe cat people know the story too.
I'm sorry for your loss. It is hard to lose a friend
I'm sorry for your loss.
I've both cats and dogs - losing either is very painful.
Take care of yourself.
