The wife and I were married on this date back in 1979. It was supposed to be on Saturday the 21st but the hall had a watemain break the week before so we had to make alternate plans. It wasn’t until later that the 420 thing came into being. Or at least we were too young and naive to know.
Also found out recently that today is Adolph Hitler’s birthdate. It was just a coincidence, honest.
