It never ceases to amaze me

How when someone is called out for their behavior or for their failings, if they are a member of a minority group, they immediately cry "discrimination!" rather than address the issues. Invariably, they use the fact that they are different as an excuse, and become victims.

Especially if they can use this to change the subject away from their bad behavior.

Instead of being big boys/girls and dealing with their issues.

Sad, really.

I am also reminded that stereotypes exist for a reason.

I hear ya. I guess that it's just easier and more personally fulfilling for some people to claim that any and every criticism of their behavior no matter how valid is really just because of their personal identity. What gets me is how many really smart people bite on that hook and reflexively side with and console the person claiming victim status without really considering what happened or how often that person cries "wolf".

Got yer back on this one. It's getting old.
